Afro Deli is looking for hardworking, reliable, and energetic team members to join us at the 2026 Minnesota State Fair, August 27 through Labor Day, September 7.
Our State Fair booth is fast-paced and team-oriented. Everyone works together and helps wherever needed to keep things running smoothly and provide great service to our customers.
State Fair Team Member
As a State Fair Team Member, you’ll rotate between different responsibilities throughout your shift, including:
- Taking customer orders and processing payments
- Preparing and serving food
- Running and packaging orders
- Restocking food, drinks, and supplies
- Keeping the booth clean and organized
- Washing dishes and equipment
- Helping teammates wherever needed
Restaurant experience is helpful, but reliability, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude are most important.
Shifts
We have morning, midday, evening, weekday, and weekend shifts available throughout the Fair.
Our greatest need is for team members who can work multiple days, evenings, weekends, and Labor Day weekend.
